CRICA, LCIA, PCA, SCC and VIAC release 2017 casework reports

A number of arbitral institutions have recently published their annual reports annual report for 2017. They include the Cairo Regional International Centre for Arbitration (CRICA), the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) and the Vienna International Arbitration Centre (VIAC).

ICC International Court of Arbitration opens new hearing centre in São Paulo and case management centre in Singapore

The ICC International Court of Arbitration has opened a new dispute resolution hearing centre in São Paulo.

The ICC International Court of Arbitration has also opened a new case management office in Singapore, located in Maxwell Chambers. It will be a home to its fourth case management team outside Paris, following the establishment of teams in Hong Kong, New York and São Paulo.

ICCA-Queen Mary task force releases report on Third Party Funding

A joint task force of The International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) and the Queen Mary University of London published its report on Third-Party Funding. The Task Force was set up in 2013 to systematically study and make recommendations regarding the procedures, ethics, and related policy issues relating to third-party funding in international arbitration.
