Eliza Głuszko is the head of the Litigation Department of Garrigues Poland. She represents Polish and foreign clients in numerous high-profile lawsuits relating to key investments in Poland. She has extensive experience in advising leading businesses in the construction, real estate, aeronautics and energy sectors.
She acts before the ordinary courts and in domestic and international arbitration proceedings (ICC). She also participates in arbitration proceedings in specialist fields, such as domain name disputes. Eliza regularly attends and speaks at international arbitration conferences and has authored several articles on arbitration.
She has a Law Degree from Uniwersytet Warszawski and is a member of the Warsaw District Bar Association.

Representation of a well-known media company in a lawsuit involving a licensor before the ICC International Court of Arbitration.
Participation in multi-jurisdictional refinancing and restructuring lawsuits, advising on the application of a restructuring agreement for an insolvent foreign company and representing its creditors in various court and arbitration proceedings in Poland.
Representation of an international franchisor in a multi-jurisdictional lawsuit with its franchisee, involving dozens of stores in Poland and the region.
Representation of various clients in insolvency proceedings, either as insolvent parties or creditors.
Eliza has handled a great many court proceedings relating to corporate disputes and director liability, indemnification of damage and loss due to breach of antitrust and unfair competition laws, contractual and noncontractual liability (agency, licensing, concession, distribution and franchise agreements).
She also provides labor law advice. She represents clients before the labor courts, negotiates with labor unions and prepares all types of collective labor agreements, employee documentation and internal regulations. She assists with the application of gender equality plans, sexual and sex-based harassment protocols and other policies aimed at promoting equal treatment and equal opportunities in the workplace, as well as shared responsibility and work-life balance. Advice on collective layoffs and transfer of workers abroad. Performance of labor audits. She speaks at conferences on labor law and ESG matters.
Interested in the reconstruction of Ukraine, participating in conferences and publishing articles on this topic.
She speaks Polish, Spanish and English.
