Guillermo Zamora Marfil is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial Law Department, where he specializes in commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and securities market law, as well as in the tourism industry.

Guillermo Zamora Marfil has been a partner in Garrigues’ Corporate/Commercial Law Department since January 2024, having joined the firm in September 2008.
He has extensive experience in sales and purchases of companies on both the buyer and seller sides and in a wide range of production sectors such as agri-food, mining, hotels, electronic entertainment or real estate, among others.
In the area of commercial contracts, he has a wealth of experience in the negotiation and formalization of all kinds of commercial contracts, having participated in numerous processes relating to the negotiation and formalization of complicated financing and investment structures by all kinds of operators.
He has participated in processes relating to incorporations, structural modifications in all their facets and the winding-up of all kinds of commercial entities. He has also taken part in numerous business group restructuring transactions.
Furthermore, he acts as an adviser to the governing bodies of a large number of companies and serves as deputy secretary to boards of directors and board committees of various companies, including in regulated fields.
He is fluent in Spanish and English.
