Jabier Gómez Miralles is a principal associate in the Administrative Law, Planning and Zoning and Environmental Law practice. He also forms part of the Energy practice area. He has extensive experience in providing technical legal advice to the main operators in the regulated sectors, especially in the energy sector (electricity, oil and gas and renewables). He has extensive experience in providing legal assistance to companies in the regulated sectors and, in particular, in the energy sector, where he has advised, gas and electricity companies and developers of renewable energy projects on a wide range of regulatory aspects (authorizations, permits, reorganizations, compliance, acquisition of assets and stakes, etc.). With respect to public law, he advises Spanish and foreign companies and authorities on energy, renewables, energy efficiency and sustainable mobility, and also on public procurement, the environment, assets and public property, penalty proceedings, subsidies, infrastructure, national defense, private security, waste, health, transport and financial liability. In the area of litigation, he represents clients before the judicial review courts and at the Supreme Court and Constitutional Court.
He is a lecturer at Universidad de Alcalá and at Club Español de la Energía (ENERCLUB), on the Advanced Master’s Degree in Energy Law, and at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, where he teaches classes in the Regulated Sectors, and at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, on the Master’s Degree in Regulated Sectors Law. He is also a lecturer and tutor on the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession organized by the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM), and tutor of the judicial review practice area on the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession of Universidad de Navarra.
Member of the Madrid Bar Association; he also a member of the Spanish Association of Energy Law (AEDEN).
