The 4th Annual Garrigues Chair in Law and Business Prize recognizes work by Zaragoza University students
The firm also picked up an award in recognition of its collaboration on the Faculty of Law’s internship program
The 4th Garrigues Chair in Law and Business Prize was awarded during an event presided over by the Rector of the University of Zaragoza on February 15th.
Students Paula Valencia and Jorge Domenech collected first and second prize, respectively, from Juan Luis Falcón, the partner in charge of the Zaragoza office.
These annual prizes seek to promote the practical application of the know-how acquired by students and hone their oral skills and rhetoric. To take part, final year students on Law and Business Administration degrees were tasked with the resolution and oral defense of a case study in front of a panel of eminent legal experts.
During the event, awards were also handed out to collaborating institutions on the Faculty of Law’s internship program, which included our firm. Partner José Antonio Montón picked up the award.
Just a few months ago, the university recognized the valuable participation of institutions and firms that sponsor chairs. On that occasion, Juan Luis Falcón picked up the diploma acknowledging Garrigues’ “constant support, effort and collaboration” on behalf of the firm.
