Colombia: The UPME defines the deadlines for the first tender of long-term electricity contracts

The Colombian Mining and Energy Planning Unit (Unidad de Planeación Minero Energética or UPME) defined the timetable for the first tender of long-term electricity contracts permitting the participation of unconventional technologies. At present, the UPME is in the process of reviewing the final conditions for participation and the PPA to be tendered, both documents to be published on November 1, 2018.  We offer below information on the significant deadlines to bear in mind.
