Garrigues, fifteen years as the law firm with the best reputation in Spain, according to Merco
Garrigues has been ranked 68th in the Merco Companies ranking. Fernando Vives, Garrigues’ executive chairman, once again features among the country’s best valued business leaders in the Merco Leaders ranking
According to the Merco Companies ranking, which spotlights the 200 companies with the best reputation in Spain, Garrigues is once again the law firm with the best reputation in the country. We have held the top position in the sectors ranking since 2009 and this year we remain in the 68th spot in the general ranking which we achieved last year.
In the Merco Leaders ranking, Fernando Vives, Garrigues’ executive chairman, once again features among the 100 best valued business leaders, taking the 48th slot in the ranking, after climbing more than 30 places with respect to last year. Alongside Antonio Garrigues, the firm’s honorary chairman, they are the only two leaders from the legal profession to feature.
Inditex heads the ranking of the companies with the best corporate reputation in 2024, followed by Mercadona and Grupo Social Once. Repsol, Coca-Cola, Mapfre, IKEA, Santander, Iberdrola and Telefónica make up the rest of the top-ten.
The Merco Companies and Merco Leaders rankings are the result of a comprehensive analysis of over 63,000 survey responses, 7 evaluations and 28 information sources. They are verified through an independent review by KPMG in accordance with the ISAE 3000 standard.
