Termination of the Double Tax Treaty between Portugal and Finland

Notice no. 146/2018, was officially published, which reports that the Finland Embassy in Lisbon has communicated to the Portuguese government the decision of the Republic of Finland to terminate the Double Tax Treaty signed between Portugal and Finland to Avoid Double Taxation in Income Taxes.
Therefore, according to article 30 of the referred Decree-Law, said Treaty will not apply as from 1 January 2019.
Remember this Convention was signed in Helsinki on 27 April 1970 and was approved by the Decree-Law no. 494/70, 23 October, and entered into force on 14 July 1971.
