
Daniel Alberto is a lawyer with experience in providing advice to national and international clients in connection with real estate, corporate and M&A transactions. He has worked on negotiations of real estate agreements such as leases - advising both lessors and lessees - easements, rights of way, trusts and sales and purchases of property located in various Mexican states. He has also advised several clients on financing matters and the acquisition of real estate projects, as well as on the safeguards required under those transactions, consisting of pledges or mortgages.
He has also advised clients on the implementation and acquisition of energy projects in different parts of Mexico, carrying out legal audit processes.
Experience
Daniel Alberto Lezama Gutiérrez is a senior associate in the Real Estate and Corporate and M&A practices. He has extensive experience advising real estate companies on the acquisition of buildings, particularly in connection with the analysis and audit of lease agreements and documents of title, and also the clauses of sale and purchase agreements. He has also advised two investment funds on the preparation of a legal audit related to the acquisition of solar projects in different Mexican states, with a 1,700MW total capacity.
He has advised investment funds on the acquisition of hospitals in Mexico City, preparing and negotiating the necessary documents for the transaction.
Daniel supported several investment funds in the acquisition of numerous photovoltaic projects in various companies, through the review of corporate and real estate documentation.
He recently advised a company on the preparation of credit facility and guarantee agreements for a substantial figure, and the financial institution on the preparation of a legal audit for the financing of the construction of stretches of railway in connection with a high impact project in Mexico, and also prepared the relevant agreements.
