Carlos Omar Castañeda Saavedra is an Associate of the Tax Department of the Mexico City office. His professional practice focuses mainly on consulting and handling litigation regarding local taxes, as well as handling administrative procedures before local authorities.
He joined the Firm in 2024. Prior to joining, he worked for more than six years in the Mexico City offices of the Chevez, Ruiz, Zamarripa Firm.
He has a Law Degree from the IITESM, and is a candidate for a Master's Degree in Tax Law from the Universidad Panamericana. He has written various articles on tax matters that have been published in specialized media.
