César Herreras Hernández is a partner in the Tax Department.
He has broad experience in providing a range of advisory services to both local clients and foreign companies in Spain, particularly with respect to family businesses and the issues deriving from the combination of business and family assets. His dual qualification in both law and business administration allows him to offer an overall perspective that complements and facilitates the provision of comprehensive advice that is not limited to a single industry or area of activity. César also provides recurring advice in more specialist areas, such as the agricultural and livestock sector and cooperatives, the tourism and hotel industry, and family business as a whole.
He lectures part time at Universidad de Valladolid and has published various articles in different specialist media.

He has broad experience in providing a range of advisory services to both local clients and foreign companies in Spain, particularly with respect to family businesses and the issues deriving from the combination of business and family assets. In this regard, he assists clients in finding optimal solutions to both aspects, focusing on restructuring transactions and medium- and long-term strategies. His dual qualification in both law and business administration allows him to offer an overall perspective that complements and facilitates the provision of comprehensive advice that is not limited to a single industry or area of activity.
César has actively participated in different M&A transactions, including due diligence processes and regularization of pre- and post-closing contingencies. Through the provision of ongoing advice, he is able to get to know his clients better, enabling him to offer solutions and alternatives to day-to-day problems. He also provides recurring advice in more specialist areas, such as the agricultural and livestock sector and cooperatives, the tourism and hotel industry or local taxation.
He is a part-time lecturer at Universidad de Valladolid, where he regularly teaches different subjects and he has also taught in various master’s degree programs. He has lectured on the Master’s Degree in Legal and Tax Counseling at the Valladolid Chamber of Commerce. He has also collaborated on research tasks with the Department of Financial Economics and Accounting of Universidad de Valladolid. In addition, César has written several articles and regularly contributes to different specialist media.
César Herreras Hernández is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and of the Valladolid Economists’ Association. He took part in the grant program of the Spanish Accounting and Business Administration Association (AECA), receiving the award for the best group academic record.
