Diego Campoy is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Law department, focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance and Contractual matters.
He has accumulated experience advising a variety of clients, both national and international, in their various legal needs to ensure effective operation in Mexico.
Additionally, he has worked as an international associate in a prestigious boutique firm based in London, where he gained experience under the English legal system.
Diego is a graduate of The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where he completed an LL.M. with a specialization in corporate and commercial law.
Experience
Diego has experience providing consulting and advisory services to multinational companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceutical, and tourism, among others. He has played an active role in complex transactions for the acquisition and/or sale of assets and companies, representing both national and foreign companies. In addition, he has contributed to the design and implementation of corporate governance structures and the establishment of various commercial entities, as well as the preparation and review of a wide range of commercial contracts.
Similarly, Diego has experience working under common law, thanks to his work in a London firm specializing in commercial arbitration, maritime law, and commodities. There, he participated in proceedings before the courts of England and Wales (High Court) and contributed to the preparation of a variety of advisory reports and legal documents subject to this jurisdiction.
