Attorney specialized in tax controversy and litigation.
Experience
Francisco J. Barajas is a counsel in the Tax, Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice.
He has a wealth of specialized experience in tax and litigation matters in both the domestic and international arenas. Within his litigation experience, he is involved in transfer pricing matters as multinational corporations currently face a highly challenging environment due to a significant rise in the number of tax inspections conducted by the authorities and the related increase in disputes.
Having been trained at Big Four consulting firms (PwC and KPMG), he maintains close ties with auditors and easily detects the lines of questioning and observations that the tax authorities have in inspections, which enables him to provide clarity to his clients regarding the alternatives available to them, thereby avoiding any related contingencies.
He also provides recurring tax advice to various companies.
Francisco J. Barajas is a member of the Mexican Bar Association (BMA) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
