Gonzalo Rincón is a partner in the Tax Department of Garrigues, where he carries out his professional activity advising Spanish and foreign companies and multinationals of all types, primarily in the Real Estate sector. He also deals with indirect taxation issues related to real estate transactions (i.e. VAT and Property Transfer Tax and Stamp Duty) and is experienced in tax litigation. He holds a degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE E-3) and has been recognized by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 and other international directories. He is a lecturer at the IE Business School.
Experience
Gonzalo Rincón is a partner in the Tax practice area since 2019 and a member of the Garrigues' Real Estate industry group.
He joined Garrigues in 2003. He advises numerous multinationals on a wide range of tax matters. He has expertise in the following practice areas, among others:
- Taxation of real estate companies and transactions for the sale and purchase of real estate.
- Advising multinationals and small- and medium-sized enterprises.
- Tax litigation
- Preparation of tax due diligence reports.
- Analysis of structures for investment in Spain and abroad.
- Advising entities in the tertiary sector and sports companies.
Gonzalo regularly speaks at seminars and conferences on real estate taxation. He is a lecturer lecturer at the IE Business School on the eal Estate Investment Management Program.
