
Grecia has almost 6 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer, providing legal corporate secretary services (shareholders’/board meetings, unanimous resolutions, foreign investment, share certificates, corporate records, etc.), transactional due diligence reports for national and international corporate groups, corporate restructuring (mergers, spin-offs, transfers of shares, liquidations), the incorporation of companies and establishment of branches in Mexico, legal research on consultations and the preparation of legal opinions (memorandums), the review and drafting of agreements, among others. Thanks to Grecia’s experience with large corporate groups in different transactions, she is able to offer her clients an integral solution, identifying the legal implications that need to be considered in each project. She is also skilled in various tech tools, achieving greater efficiency and transparency in the provision of legal services.
Grecia’s principal experience is with clients in the automotive, energy, pharmaceutical, advertising, manufacturing and construction industries, among others.
Grecia held the position of senior lawyer in the legal practice of a Big Four firm, providing consulting services to transnational clients and offering the different fields of specialization necessary to provide an integral solution in global transactions.

Grecia Farfán is an associate in the Corporate and M&A and Energy practices.
She has participated in several high impact corporate transactions, including mergers, restructurings, liquidations and due diligence processes, focused on optimizing corporate structures, ensuring regulatory compliance and facilitating strategic acquisitions.
Her most noteworthy achievements include the merger of 10 companies in the same corporate group, simplifying the corporate structure and securing the necessary capital to enable the merging company to participate in tender processes. She also headed the merger of two companies in the same corporate group in order to comply with the new labor obligations related to the prohibition on outsourcing, and the liquidation of three companies with the same objective.
In another important case, she managed the merger of two companies in the same corporate group in order to reduce costs and optimize the operating expenses in Mexico. She also participated in a corporate restructuring project for an international pharmaceutical group, documenting merger processes and transfers of shares to improve the corporate structure following the acquisition of another corporate group.
Grecia also has experience in transactional due diligences, notably the acquisition of a group that owns industrial parks, a company engaged in manufacturing polymers and a company that owns tourist vessels. She has also reviewed and validated the corporate and regulatory compliance of a multiple-purpose financial company (SOFOM).
In addition, she participated in the incorporation of a new company in Mexico for an international corporate group, facilitating the start-up of operations in the country. These projects reflect her ability to design effective corporate strategies and ensure the success of complex transactions.
