Within his extensive experience, he has been involved in numerous domestic and international transactions, coordinating multidisciplinary financial and legal teams in the conception, design, due diligence and execution of such transactions, including the financing thereof and the legal conception of investments and projects. He has participated in multiple investment processes in Spain for foreign clients, while actively developing the leadership and complete legal advice of Spanish companies abroad, particularly in legal aspects related to contracting, investment, joint venture, acquisition or disinvestment in foreign companies or businesses. Within these processes, he has extensive experience in advising clients in industrial sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, services, energy and distribution, including advising investment funds and family offices in transactions and on a recurring basis.

He is secretary of the board of directors and legal advisor to national companies, family businesses and multinationals, with responsibility for the direction and management of the general legal affairs of many of them in relation to shareholder relations, corporate bodies and governance, corporate law and contracting, with particular expertise in the resolution of corporate conflicts and generational transition. He has been appointed observer on the boards of directors of foreign subsidiaries for various clients, as well as for Spanish subsidiaries of multinational groups.

In his pro bono activity he participates as legal advisor to non-profit organisations, being secretary of certain foundations linked to social insertion and having contributed throughout his career to the implementation and advice of projects with a social impact.

Degree in Law from Universidad de Deusto.

He has been a lecturer on the Master's Degree in Legal Consultancy at the University of Deusto and the Garrigues Study Centre, and is currently a member of the Master's Court at the University of Deusto. He is also a regular collaborator and speaker on different courses organised by entities such as APD, Cebek, Chambers of Commerce, the Economists' Association, etc., and has published several articles on commercial matters in different publications. He holds the position of secretary of the board of trustees of the Innovation Hub Europe of the Monterrey Institute of Technology.

He is a member of the Vizcaya Bar Association.

For years he has been recognised annually by the US publication The Best Lawyers (Spain edition), having been included in its latest 2020 edition in the categories of Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions and Banking & Finance.
