Juan Luis is a partner practicing in the areas of IP, pharmacy, biotechnology and Life Sciences, data economy, privacy, cybersecurity, administrative and constitutional law. He has extensive experience in handling high level matters in Mexico and Latin America, combining legal advisory work with public policy.
He has successfully directed contentious strategies to obtain regulatory exclusivity and adjustments to the validity of patents for pharmaceutical products.
He has provided advice on several business development transactions in the Life Sciences industry, including, co-developments, acquisitions and sales of product portfolios and sales in the public sector.
Juan Luis was legal director of a well-known multinational pharmaceutical laboratory, with responsibility for Mexico and Latin America and worked in specialized IP law firms.
