Leopoldo Fragoso is a member of the Securities Markets and Banking and Finance practice areas. He is also experienced in mergers and acquisitions, including public and private tender offers, leveraged acquisitions and reorganizations, and general corporate work. Leopoldo Fragoso obtained his law degree (J.D. equivalent) from Universidad Panamericana and has several post-graduate studies in commercial, civil and banking and finance law, including derivative transactions.

He has significant experience advising issuers, underwriters and other market participants across a wide array of equity and debt capital markets transactions, including the structuring of hybrid products and complex asset-backed securitizations, private placements and liability management transactions, having participated in a large number of initial and subsequent public offerings and cross-border investment-grade and high-yield bond offerings pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S of the US Securities Act of 1933.
He also provides regular advice to financial institutions in bilateral and syndicated lending, asset financing and other leveraged transactions with different levels of complexity. He is also experienced in mergers and acquisitions, including public and private tender offers, leveraged acquisitions and reorganizations, and general corporate work.
