Marta González Alonso is a senior associate of the Tax Law Department of Garrigues, where she has pursued her professional career since 2010. She is an expert in the area of excise and environmental taxes. She also provides recurring tax advice on both direct and indirect taxation to companies and business groups from various sectors, with special emphasis on Agribusiness. She holds a degree in Law and in Business Administration from the University of Valladolid and an Executive Master's Degree in Business Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues in collaboration with Harvard Law School. She collaborates as a lecturer with the Business School of the Valladolid Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Marta González Alonso is a senior associate of the Tax Law Department of Garrigues since 2017, having spent her entire professional career at the firm since she joined in 2010. Her professional activity includes:
- She specializes in excise and environmental taxes, with extensive experience in advising clients in this field, forming part of the firm's working groups with expertise in this area.
- She has extensive expertise in providing recurring tax advice to companies and corporate groups belonging to different sectors present in the region, such as the agri-food sector, among others.
- Her advice covers both direct and indirect taxation, both in the field of national, regional and local taxation, including the representation of taxpayers in tax procedures and tax advice in the field of "family business" benefits.
- She also has experience in the field of M&A, participating in processes of corporate reorganization, company purchase/sale transactions and due diligence processes.
- Excellent command of Spanish and English.
