Monica Yrrarazabal is a principal associate in the Banking and Financial Law, Capital Markets Law, Mergers and Acquisitions and Commercial Contracts and Corporate Law practice. She has extensive experience in structuring, negotiating, and advising local and international financial entities, investors and issuers of securities in financing operations both through debt and equity instruments, including private and public, primary and secondary offerings, takeover bids and securitizations, as well as in credit facilities, acquisition finance, project finance, real estate projects, and mergers and acquisitions; local and international. Likewise, she regularly assists capital market participants, local and foreign institutional investors, banking, financial and insurance companies, and new participants in the Peruvian market, in regulatory matters regarding capital markets, banking, finance, insurance, e-commerce, digital platforms, electronic signature, compliance, among others, and companies in the fintech sector.
Previously, she was an associate at Miranda & Amado (2013-2016), worked at Credicorp Capital (2016-2018), and was an International Associate in the New York office of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP (2021- 2022).
