Financial Times highlights Garrigues’ sustainability strategy among the most innovative projects in the European legal market
Garrigues was once again among Europe’s most prestigious and successful law firms.
The FT Innovative Lawyers 2022 report cites, from among European peers, two Garrigues projects that focus on sustainability: Garrigues Sustainable, which brings together the firm’s ESG services and delivers solutions based on legal, technical and environmental analyses, and the global internal Ride the ESG Wheel awareness initiative. Both projects were called Standout projects, the second highest rating given in the report. In addition, Rosa Zarza, the partner in charge of Garrigues’ Labor and Employment Law Department, ranked among the top ten intrapreneurs (European entrepreneurs) for her work as coordinator of Garrigues Sustainable and head of the firm’s ESG Committee.
Financial Times also emphasized the firm’s role in the digital economy, citing Carolina Pina, partner with the Intellectual Property Department, as one of the top ten most innovative European lawyers (individual practitioner category) for her contribution to building a legal market for the new economy.
In the general ranking that forms part of the Financial Times report, Garrigues was once again among Europe’s most prestigious and successful law firms, coming in at number 25. This ranking looks at five variables: innovation, people, digital, client mentions and growth (financial).
