Garrigues named in London as best Spanish firm in tax litigation
Partners Ángel García and Gonzalo Rincón picked up the ITR award for best Spanish firm in tax litigation.
Garrigues has been recognized as the best firm in Spain in tax litigation for the second consecutive year. The publication International Tax Review (ITR), which covers tax news from firms across the globe, has granted the firm this honor in the context of the EMEA Tax Awards, held yesterday in London and attended by the most noteworthy European firms and lawyers in the tax field.
In the history of these awards, founded in 2005, Garrigues has consolidated its position as the firm that has won the most accolades in the tax field in the Spanish and Portuguese market, and as one of the stand-out firms at European level. In this edition, Garrigues has once again demonstrated its leadership by winning for the second consecutive year in what is one of the most important categories of these awards.
This comes on the heels of other major awards that Garrigues has received this year in the tax field, such as Best Tax Firm in Spain in the Expansión Legal Awards and Best Tax Team in the first edition of the El Confidencial Business Law awards. The firm is also ranked in Tier 1 in all tax categories in international directories such as World Tax, Chambers and Legal 500.
