Garrigues once again tops the ‘IFLR1000’ ranking in Spain
It is the only firm to achieve Tier 1 in all eight practice areas evaluated
Garrigues retains pole position in Spain in the ranking published by the IFLR1000. This guide lists the world’s best firms specializing in corporate and financial law from over 120 jurisdictions.
As has been the case since 2017, we are the only Spanish law firm to reach Band 1 in the eight practice areas evaluated in the ranking: banking; capital markets: debt; capital markets: equity; capital markets: structured finance and securitization; M&A; project development; project finance; and restructuring and insolvency. In addition, Garrigues stands out as the only firm with all its capital market areas in Tier 1.
In the Portugal ranking too, the firm has repeated the good results obtained last year, reaching Tier 1 in M&A.
This guide, now in its 35th edition, is one of the most prestigious directories in corporate and financial matters in the legal sector. In preparing these rankings, IFLR draws from interviews with clients and lawyers, as well as an analysis of the deals carried out in the past 12 months.
