Garrigues wins three awards from 'El Confidencial', including best law firm
At the gala presentation of the II Edition of the El Confidencial Business Lawyer Awards, held last night in Madrid, Garrigues won three awards: Best Law Firm, Best Tax Team and Best Firm Lawyer by Fernando Vives, executive chairman of the firm.
"Our aim is to always provide the very best service to our clients. We are a firm with history, presence and we hope, a great future", said Fernando Vives upon receiving the award for Best Law Firm from the Mayor of Madrid, During the presentation, José Luis Martínez Almeida said that "Garrigues represents the Madrid law firms that give their best every day. It is an extraordinary example of past and future".
Garrigues wins the award after exceeding €450 million in revenue globally in 2023, while in Spain it came close to €400 million, in which it increased turnover in all practice areas. It was also the first law firm to publish a three-year Sustainability Plan and launched the digital business division, a clear differentiating factor with the rest of the sector.
After receiving the award for the best firm lawyer, Fernando Vives said "if I deserve this award for anything, it is the desire that I get up with every day not to fall behind the extremely high level of the Spanish legal profession, nor disappoint my clients or my colleagues".
