Pablo Saura is a principal associate in the Litigation and Arbitration Department of Garrigues, where he has pursued his professional career since 2007. He specializes in the areas of civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, white-collar crime and insolvency law. He provides litigation and pre-litigation advice to Spanish and foreign companies. He has advised debtors, creditors and transferees of production units in insolvency proceedings. In the area of criminal litigation, he has advised major Spanish and international companies and individuals in proceedings relating to white-collar and corporate crimes. He holds a Degree in Law and an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Law from Harvard Law School and Centro de Estudios Garrigues. Pablo is a practicing arbitrator of the Aragonese Court of Mediation and Arbitration. He is a member of the Management Board of the Real Estate and Construction Law section of the Zaragoza Bar Association. He also teaches classes on the Family Business Analysis and Management program organized by the Aragón Family Business Association.
Experience
Pablo Saura is a principal associate in the Litigation, Arbitration, Restructuring and Insolvency practices.
He joined Garrigues in 2007 and was promoted to principal associate in 2019.
He has extensive experience before the law courts.
In the civil and commercial field, he has represented national and international clients before courts and arbitral tribunals in proceedings relating to directors’ liability, interpretation of contracts, corporate and family disputes, and construction defects, among others.
He is a practicing arbitrator of the Aragonese Court of Mediation and Arbitration.
Member of the Management Board of the Real Estate and Construction Law section of the Zaragoza Bar Association.
In the criminal field, Pablo has advised major clients mainly in relation to white-collar crimes and corporate crimes. He also assists clients with the implementation of Corporate Compliance Programs.
In the area of restructuring and insolvency, he has advised leading Spanish and international companies on pre-insolvency and insolvency proceedings, representing both the insolvent party and creditors. He has also advised companies on the purchase of insolvency assets and production units.
Lecturer on the Family Business Analysis and Management program organized by the Aragón Family Business Association.
Regular speaker on insolvency matters, directors’ liability and criminal law.
He is fluent in Spanish and English.
