    Location: The project is located on Peru’s southern coast, in the department of Ica.

    Object: Concession for the design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of a new port terminal for public use, for the storage and loading of minerals (iron and copper concentrates) plus raw materials for mining in San Juan de Marcona, in the department of Ica.

    Financial structure: Self-financed project.

    Value of the investment: Approximately US$ 540 million (without VAT).

    Term: Thirty (30) years.

    Title-holder of the concessioned activity: Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) and Autoridad Portuaria Nacional (APN).

    Status of process: The project is currently being evaluated. According to the Strategic Plan and Portfolio 2020-2021, it is expected to be declared of interest from the second half of 2021 onwards. The project’s technical sheet is online and can be reviewed via the website of Proinversión.
