  • Wastewater Treatment System for a sustainable Chiclayo

    Location: The project is located in the Peruvian coast, in the department of Chiclayo, department of Lambayeque.

    Object: Design and construction of sanitary infrastructure (wastewater treatment plant) and operation and maintenance of three wastewater treatment plants for the districts of La Victoria, Chiclayo, José Leonardo Ortiz and Pimentel in the province of Chiclayo, Lambayeque region.

    Financial structure: Co-financed project.

    Value of the investment: Approximately US$ 48.39 million (without VAT).

    Term: Twenty (20) years.

    Title-holder of the concessioned activity: Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS).

    Status of process: The project is currently under formulation. According to the Projects Portfolio 2019-2022, the call for tenders and award are expected from the second half of 2021 onwards. The project's summary sheet is online and can be found on Proinversión's website.
