ICSID works on new draft arbitration rules
The International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) has recently unveiled that it is working on draft of new rules for what it calls the most far-reaching amendments to its rules in over 50 years.Among the amendments proposed, items include new provisions on transparency, arbitrator disclosure, security for costs and third-party funding.
CIETAC opens new Vancouver branch
China’s largest arbitration provider, CIETAC, has opened a North American branch in the Canadian city of Vancouver – its first outside China.
