The Ministry for Labor and Social Economy has published on its website the job assessment tool which will facilitate compliance with equal pay obligations.
Job assessment becomes necessary to ensure compliance with equality obligations, specifically, for remuneration auditing as an integral part of the diagnostic survey and for the keeping of the remuneration register.
The tool together with a guide for use has been published on the Ministry’s website. It is, in any case, a voluntary form which will permit:
- Compliance with the obligation to conduct the job assessment as an element of the diagnostic survey of remuneration at the company, which forms part of its equality plan.
- Compliance with the obligation to keep the remuneration register which, in the case of companies that carry out remuneration audits, must reflect the arithmetic averages and median salaries, additional salary elements and non-salary benefits of the workforce divided into work groupings of equal value at the company.
- The performance of an assessment from a gender perspective of jobs at the company for any other purposes.
