Carlos is a lawyer graduated from Universidad de los Andes with an option in economics from the same institution. He is also a specialist in Public Management and Administrative Institutions, Commercial Law and Taxation from Universidad de los Andes. During his experience he has worked as an associate in different law firms, focusing his professional practice in representation and advice in commercial matters, preparation and negotiation of contracts, design and implementation of corporate and tax structures, among others.
Experience
Carlos has extensive experience in the assistance of national and foreign companies in commercial matters (corporate and contractual), as well as drafting, structuring and negotiating of mercantile agreements (for example, distribution, supply, commercial agency, franchise, joint ventures).
Additionally, he has also participated in the preparation and review of corporate governance and compliance programs under the framework of national and international regulations for the prevention of AML/CFT activities.
He is fluent in Spanish and English.
