Daniel Diez Monge is a senior associate in the Employment Law Department at Garrigues, where he has been practicing since 2010. Daniel Diez Monge is a senior associate in the Labor and Employment Department of Garrigues, which he joined in 2010. He has been involved in highly complex workforce restructuring procedures and has extensive experience in collective redundancies, temporary lay-offs and the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements and other collective bargaining agreements. He has participated in the implementation of collective internal flexibility measures such as substantial modification of working conditions, non-application of collective agreement conditions, transfers and irregular working day distributions.
He provides recurring advice on labour, social security and occupational risk prevention matters to many companies throughout Spain, including advice on compensation and benefits for employees (design of fixed and variable remuneration plans, as well as flexible remuneration or remuneration in kind), international relocations of employees (analysis of existing alternatives and preparation of the necessary documentation), and on social security matters (registration of administrators, benefit surcharge proceedings, derivation of debts, company succession and liquidation proceedings, among others).
He has extensive experience in judicial matters and litigation throughout Spain.
He is fluent in Spanish and English.
