Experience
Marisol González is a partner in the Corporate and M&A practice. With an extensive background in providing legal advice and representation in strategic transactions, she has led complex projects for domestic and international companies in the automobile, manufacturing, real estate, energy and technology sectors.
Her noteworthy engagements include advising a Japanese automaker on a joint venture agreement with a German automaker to set up a plant in Aguascalientes, and representing US manufacturers in acquisitions in Querétaro and Ciudad Juárez. She also assisted a Japanese client with its expansion into the Mexican market through the negotiation of a strategic corporate holding.
In the real estate and commercial sector, she advised a timeshare group in Cancún on its expansion in Mexico, as well as on the restructuring of residential and commercial projects. In the energy sphere, she represented leading international firms in corporate sales and acquisitions in Mexico, including most notably the corporate restructuring of a leading Japanese company in the sector.
In addition, she has advised on acquisitions in the publishing, optical and courier service sectors, and has taken part in key transactions such as the sale of a leading manufacturer of ice cream bases.
