Nicolás Clark is a partner in the Labor and Employment Law Department of Garrigues, where he has pursued his professional career since 2009. He specializes in the provision of recurring advice to companies on labor and social security matters, with particular expertise in relation to restructuring processes. He holds a Degree in Law and Business Administration and has an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Law from Centro de Estudios Garrigues. Nicolás has extensive experience in providing comprehensive advice to companies on labor and social security matters. Over his professional career, he has participated in a range of engagements, including:
- Recurring advisory services on labor and social security law.
- Definition of labor-related policies.
- Collective dismissals, temporary layoffs, material modification of working conditions, collective transfers and collective labor agreement opt-outs.
- Preparation and negotiation of Equality Plans.
- Negotiation of collective labor agreements.
- Advice on labor and social security inspections and on related procedures.
- Advice on court proceedings in the labor jurisdiction and labor-related judicial review proceedings.
He specializes in labor reorganization and restructuring processes, providing labor law advice in both the strategy and preparation phase and in negotiations with unions and workers’ representatives. Nicolás has extensive experience in advising clients in industrial sectors, particularly the aeronautics and mining sectors, as well as in the energy, retail and trade, transport and insurance sectors.
He has spent part of his professional career at Garrigues at the Bogotá (Colombia) office.
He is fluent in Spanish and English.
