Tiago Correia Pinto is a senior associate in the Labor and Employment Law Department of Garrigues, having previously been a junior and an associate.
Before joining Garrigues, he worked at the Oporto Labor Court, at a sole practice firm (Oporto), at law firm Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados (offices in Oporto and Lisbon) and, as legal adviser, at the Constitutional Court (Political Financing and Accounts Commission).
He has extensive experience in providing recurring advice to multinational companies on labor and social security law matters, including contracts, individual and collective negotiations, transfers of undertakings, disciplinary procedures, lay off procedures, assistance in labor inspections, processes for the temporary loaning and/or assignment of workers, collective dismissal procedures and downsizing, restructurings, labor due diligence, as well as training at companies in the different areas of labor law.
He also has great expertise in labor disputes and administrative proceedings involving the labor and social security authorities.

Degree in Law, Faculty of Law, Universidade do Porto (2014).
Master’s Degree in Corporate and Business Law, Faculty of Law, Universidade Católica Portuguesa (2016).
He has also completed other academic studies and a course in data protection at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2018).
