Portugal: New rules for teleworking and staggered working hours

It was published in the Official Gazette the Resolution of the Council of Ministers no 74-A/2021, June 7th, 2021, which, declared the state of calamity in mainland Portugal until 23:59 hours of June 27th, 2021 and stated the applicable rules.
Regarding the teleworking regime and staggered working hours, the aforementioned Resolution of the Council of Ministers established that Decree-Law no 79-A/2020, October 1st, in its current wording, shall be applicable as follows:
- The teleworking regime applicable to certain specific situations and the staggered working hours regime is applicable in mainland Portugal;
- The general teleworking regime is only applicable to municipalities in high risk and very high risk categories, which determination will be re-valuated on a weekly basis*.
