Published the change in the normal retirement age and updated the value of the IAS

A number of Ordinances with a special impact on Social Security matters have been published in the Portuguese Official Gazette, highlighting the ones that follows:
- Ordinance n.º 27/2020, January 31st 2020, resulting in the annual update of the amount of the Social Support Index (IAS) for the year 2020 to €438.81.
This Ordinance comes into effect on January 1st, 2020. - Ordinance n.º 30/2020, January 31st 2020, which results in (i) the normal age of access to the old-age pension of the general Social Security system in 2021 being 66 years and 6 months, and (ii) the sustainability factor to be applied to the statutory amount of old-age pensions is of 0.8480.
This Ordinance comes into effect on January 1st 2020.
