Mariana Faria Santos is a principal associate in the Corporate Law and Commercial Contracts, Mergers and Acquisitions department.
She has taken an active role in the acquisition and sale of companies and assets, restructuring, recurrent advisory services in matters of corporate law and commercial contracts, as well as support to domestic and foreign clients in local and cross-border investments.
As part of her banking and finance practice, Mariana has been advising clients on corporate finance operations, in the context of bank financing and bond issuances.
Before joining Garrigues, Mariana Faria Santos was a lawyer at PLEN - Sociedade de Advogados, between 2017 and 2018, she served as head of legal at BA Glass Group, between 2013 and 2017, and started her professional career as a trainee and, afterwards, as an associate, at Telles de Abreu e Associados, from 2011 to 2013.
