We opened for business in London in November 2007. Since then our team has garnered market recognition for its responsiveness and for the easy access we provide to the network of Garrigues offices in Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
Located in the heart of the City, the London office advises UK businesses, investors and financial institutions with interests in Spain, and other Garrigues clients with dealings in the UK market. The office also handles Garrigues’ relations with London-based law firms: referring cases, providing legal advice on matters of Spanish law, and assembling multi-jurisdictional teams of lawyers with these firms, when required.

Garrigues UK LLP is a limited liability partnership incorporated in England and Wales with registration number OC330056. We use the term partner to refer to a partner of the partnership or an employee or consultant of equivalent category.
Our professionals, both solicitors and lawyers, are registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). However, the LLP as such is not regulated by the SRA.
The contact details of the SRA are as follows: Solicitors Regulation Authority, The Cube, 199 Wharfside Street, Birmingham, B1 1RN. The standards and requirements applicable to our SRA registered lawyers are set out in the SRA Standards and Regulations, which can be found here: https://www.sra.org.uk/solicitors/standards-regulations/principles y https://www.sra.org.uk/solicitors/standards-regulations/code-conduct-solicitors
Since the LLP is not regulated by the SRA, the SRA’s compulsory insurance plan does not apply to the LLP and its clients will not be able to access the SRA Compensation Fund.
The advice we provide our clients may be covered by legal professional privilege in litigation; however, it should be noted that advice provided outside the context of a lawsuit may not be subject to professional legal privilege in all cases.
